Got Girls? Week 3 of the Stocking Stuffers Giveaways!

Welcome to Week 3 of my blogaversary stocking stuffer giveaways! This one consists of stocking stuffers for girls, including:

  • Tales of Emily Windsnap gift box set with two books and a shell necklace (recommended ages 7 and up)

  • Pair of cat socks (8 years to adult)

  • Box of Hello Kitty band-aids

  • Princess and the Pea pocket mirror from Etsy seller Serpentmandalas

  • Teddy bear magnet from recycled Pepsi can from Etsy seller FunkyRecycling

  • Hallmark pocket photo frame

  • Taleidoscope from Japan (if I understand correctly, the difference between a kaleidoscope and a taleidoscope is that the former has bits of pebbles or beads inside that shift when you turn it, whereas a taleidoscope has an open-ended lens that you look at things through)

  • A $10 Target gift card.

As with my last giveaway, all items are new and unopened! Also as with my last giveaway, due to shipping and customs issues, this giveaway is for U.S. residents only. (My apologies to readers outside the U.S.)

To enter this week's giveaway, please leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite stocking stuffer to give or receive.

Additional optional entries are available by: 1) becoming a follower OR already being a follower; 2) subscribing via an RSS Reader (such as Google Reader) OR already being a subscriber; and 3) posting a note anywhere on your blog (including sidebar) about this giveaway. If any of these options apply to you, please leave me another comment letting me know.

The entry period will run through Friday November 20, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. based on the timestamp shown by the comments. I will draw a random winner on Saturday and get in touch with the winner for his or her address. Good luck!

I always look forward to my stocking. ;) One of my favorite years was when I got a bottle of Irrisistable Apple body wash from Bath & Body Works. Thanks for the chance to win!

My mom used to stuff an apple and an orange in our stockings at the bottom which filled it halfway! Hahah...what a ripoff! For some reason, I used to love to get the Lifesaver storybooks in my stocking as a kid!

We usually give practical gifts in our stocking - deodorant, a new toothbrush, etc. So I enjoy putting something unexpected in my family's stockings - a necklace or something special.

I'm a follower, and I have your link in my side bar! You find such fun items to feature for stocking stuffers! I loved the video game soap. ;)

My favorite stocking stuffer to give is small gift cards. The kids just love finding a $5 Subway card, or a $5 Dollar Tree card.

When I was little I was excited about what I was going to get from Elmer (Christmas Elf), which was a gift that was put in our stockings. It wasn't an expensive gift, just something what an elf could afford. This tradition now continues with my kids!

There are so many things... candy, small toys and gadgets... it was always exciting to open the stocking and find mini-treasures! (Still is... particularly when there are Peanut Butter Cups and Peppermint Patties in there!)

Every stocking in our house gets a mandarin orange. But I like giving my daughter little lip glosses and other "make up" type stuff, art supplies and a little candy for fun.

I'm usually the stocking stuffer in the house, mine doesn't always get as much LUV per se, but hubby always sticks a gift card in there for my trips to the yarn shops (I'm a knitter). That's enough to make me smile!
