Happy May First! To me, May means Mother's Day is coming right up, so today I have a stocking stuffer suggestion that works wonderfully for Mother's Day: a real pansy that's been preserved, edged with gold, and turned into a lovely pin. Each pansy is about 2 inches tall and is mounted on a gold-plated stick pin. It looks like they currently only have blue and white available, but check back if you're interested in the other colors, or perhaps you can find a similar pin elsewhere.More than any other flowers, I associate pansies and lilies of the valley with my mother. What flowers do you think of when you think "Mom"?
