Elegant Mini Salt and Pepper Mills

When all the holiday catalogs start pouring in, especially from Williams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrell, Sur la Table, and so on, I start picturing in my mind a gorgeous elegant table that I've set with those beautiful, heavy, plain white plates, luxurious cloth napkins, and a stunning centerpiece. But because I can't bear to replace things that are perfectly functional, I am still using two sets of dishes that my parents were using long before I graduated from high school (and I've already had my twentieth reunion, so we're not talking about yesterday here!). But I still like to dream of my perfect, pretty table. Some day I'll take the plunge.

In the meantime, I came across these miniature salt and pepper mills, which fit right in to my plain-yet-elegant dream table setting. From the first photo, you really quite can't tell that they're "mini", but look at the second photo, which shows how people use them. Aren't they refined? They should be, at this price -- $19.95 apiece, so not only are they "luxury Friday" stocking stuffers, they're really double luxury stocking stuffers!
