Wild Maine Blueberry Syrup

OK, the trouble with these Wednesday "food" stocking stuffer posts is that they always make me hungry! For today I've found this jug of Maine blueberry syrup from the Sur La Table website (or their brick & mortar stores). The website claims that it's delicious served warm over vanilla ice cream, Belgian waffles, French toast, or pancakes. At 16 ounces, this might take a good-sized stocking, but where there's a will, there's a way. It would also be lovely in a gift basket, of course.

And now I will go look at something unappetizing to counter the effect of looking at this tantalizing syrup....
