Heart-Shaped Pasta

Since everyone will be thinking of heart-shaped chocolates for Valentine's Day, I thought it might be more fun to feature a different kind of food gift here. The Pasta Shoppe, which boasts over 150 different pasta shapes, offers both the 14 oz. "Eat Your Heart Out" bag of red and pasta-colored hearts for $4.95 (regularly $5.50), and the 6 oz. "Love and Kisses" version for $3.49, which appears to be the same mix, just in a smaller bag.

Obviously, the small bag would fit easily in a Valentine's Day basket. The company also offers a "love and kisses" gift set, consisting of the smaller pasta bag, a sweet and sour snack mix bag, and a small bag of heart-shaped cookies.

And of course, since in my opinion restaurants are to be avoided at all costs on February 14, you could just cook your sweetie a heart-shaped pasta dinner! This would also be a fun dinner for kids.
