I don't normally give gifts with specific Christmas decor, because in general I want people to be able to enjoy and/or use the gifts I give them all year round. But I think this is something I could make an exception for, because although it can be Christmas, it doesn't have to be Christmas, and I myself would be perfectly happy using this year-round.
