It may still be well over 90 degrees every day here in Houston, but darn it! it's September, and I'm going to pretend it's fall!So, just in time for the harvest season, here are these adorable ginger babies, or little crystallized gingerbread men. The King Arthur Flour company notes that these ginger babies are perfect with gingerbread, iced cake, or other "harvest confections". They can be dipped in chocolate or served alongside fine cheese for a little something different. However the recipient uses them, these ginger babies are sure to be a unique and much-appreciated stocking stuffer. The 6.7-oz jar (about 1.5 cups) costs $10.95, and would really dress up a stocking or a gift basket.
