Money Origami
Especially when it comes to teens, money is never an unwelcome gift choice. To make it more special, why not fold up that $5 or $10 or even $20 bill into a Christmas tree shape inside a little card to be tucked into that stocking?
A simple Google search on "dollar origami" or "money origami" will bring you to several useful sites, with different variations on bills folded into Christmas trees. I liked this one the best because it seemed the most simple. This is by Florence Temko and V'Ann Cornelius, and appeared on the Net 4 TV (whatever that means) website way back in 2000.
What: Origami Christmas Tree from a dollar bill
Where: Net 4 TV
How much (as of today's post): Your choice of denomination, plus a few cents for materials if you put it on or in a hand-made card
